Our ongoing work to restore habitat and remove trash and debris from Alpine Creek, and the headwaters of the San Diego River that originate in the unincorporated community of Alpine, are now featured online through the Southern California Wetlands Recovery Project (SCWRP) website.  As the major supporter of this year's watershed restoration projects here in Alpine, funding from SCWRP comes from environmental partners and agencies throughout the state, including the CA Coastal Commission, Wildlife Conservation Board, Earth Island Institute, and BCLT's local partners, Sempra/SDG&E, Endangered Habitats Conservancy, and the Lakeside River Park Conservancy, as well as private donations from individual members and in-kind supporters.

Thanks to everyone who helps make the Alpine Watershed Stewardship Program an ongoing success, and to our volunteers and project partners, for engaging the San Diego community in the health and productivity of our watersheds and riparian areas - both for wildlife and recreation!
