Since 1990, BCLT has been preserving San Diego's rural heritage, open space landscapes, and wildlife habitat for all to enjoy.

In 2015, we are celebrating 25 years of BCLT's efforts, and the dedication and hard work of the individuals, communities, and organizations that have made it possible to protect more than 6,000 acres of eastern San Diego's "Back Country" lands for future generations.

We hope you'll join us for a year of reflection on our successes, and looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that await us in the years to come!

Our 2014 Membership Drive is in full swing this summer, with a goal of raising $15,000 in support of Wright's Field in Alpine!  We hope you'll join / renew your annual BCLT membership in 2014, and show your support for land conservation, watershed stewardship, and environmental education in San Diego's Back Country.

Starting at just $25 per year, your entire household can become BCLT Members and receive our semi-annual newsletter, discounted tickets to BCLT events, and NEW for 2014, our recently published Wright's Field Trail Map!  Plus, you'll also receive BCLT member benefits at each level of gift you make (see below).

We hope you'll join / renew your BCLT membership this year, and help us protect San Diego's beautiful open space landscapes like Wright's Field in Alpine for future generations!
