How to publish an update
- Open
news/index.htmlin GitHub and select the pencil icon to edit. - Copy an existing
<article>block, then replace its date, heading, body, and destination link. - Put the newest item first and keep it concise.
- Use “Commit changes” in GitHub. GitHub Pages will publish the update after its normal build cycle.
If routine news becomes frequent, consider adding a simple Markdown-based static-site generator later. For occasional updates, this plain HTML approach is more reliable for staff turnover.
