Back Country Land Trust is committed to long-term land conservation and stewardship in San Diego’s east county. We work to preserve environmentally sensitive open-space lands through property acquisition, conservation easements, land stewardship, and monitoring. Our ecological preserves protect and enhance several threatened and endangered species through preservation and restoration of native habitats. We offer environmental education in our community through outdoor youth programs, organized guided hikes, and opportunities for volunteers to work directly on the land.
