Trail Workday with SDMBA & REI

We’re kicking off spring with two new partnerships!

This year BCLT is working with the San Diego Mountain Bike Association (SDMBA) to build more partnership and collaboration between all of our trail users – that includes hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. Also joining us for this workday is another new partner for 2020, as the employees of REI make the trip up to Alpine to help us work on improving our local trails!

Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes, long pants, a hat, and bring sunscreen, water, and work gloves. SDMBA will supply drinks and snacks, as well as tools and training for this workday. BCLT will be providing erosion control materials and native seed for habitat restoration. Meeting location is at 1951 Tavern Road. Our group will hike to the project site from there. Parking is available at Joan MacQueen Middle School – 2001 Tavern Road.
